Dinner at Pastamania – 14months old

Zo Ee at 14months 4weeks old. (10/7/2009)

We had our dinner at Pastamania in a nearby shopping mall just now, and we were sitting next to a family of four; mother, father and two primary school girls. Since the younger girl was sitting near to little Zo Ee, little Zo Ee was excited and calling her “jie-jie” in a loud voice. And when Mummy asked little Zo Ee what colour was the jie-jie wearing? Little Zo Ee answered Mummy, “pink!” with a voice loud enough to be heard by the rest of the family. Thorough the dinner, little Zo Ee was active and talkative, saying many words. And the girls’ father found Zo Ee cute, and couldn’t resist in asking us about Zo Ee’s age. When we told him that little Zo Ee is 15months old. ( To be exact, will be 15months old tomorrow.), he was amazed at the number of words already said by little Zo Ee and he was trying to count them to his wife. The girls’ mother thought little Zo Ee was around 20months old but was surprised that she is much younger than her expectation. And the girls’ mother commented, “She is already saying a lot.“ “Well, we couldn’t deny that.” : ) Throughout the dinner, the girls’ father was all ears on little Zo Ee. And when they were finally leaving, little Zo Ee waved bye to them, which amazed them more.

Actually, what the girls’ parents heard was only a minute fraction of Zo Ee’s vast vocabulary and yet they were already so excited and amazed. I think they will fall off their chairs if I were to tell them that little Zo Ee can say and read about 500 words now. Hee ! Hee! Hee!

And on our way home, a lady in her late forties found little Zo Ee cute too, especially with her many words and body language. She too commented that little Zo Ee is already saying a lot. In fact, even Mummy and Daddy find little Zo Ee extremely talkative today, saying more than her usual self.
