We celebrated Zo Ee's first birthday on the 8th April 2009, a few days earlier than the actual date, 11th April 2009. This is the Chinese norm in Singapore to always celebrate baby first birthday earlier than the actual date itself. Though we were not really particular, we celebrated earlier and chose a date for our convenient instead.

Zo Ee was very surprise to seeing the birthday cake and song sung by the Hard Rock Cafe guys and proud of her birthday gift. Whenever we asked her where is your birthday gift...she will happily point at it.
