Bali April 2009 - Zo Ee's first trip

Breakfast at the Changi Air Port - toast bread
Poor little Zo Ee had to get up at 6am and to leave for the airport by 7am.

Zo Ee's first aeroplane ride
Tired from the early rise, cruising excitement and trying to make friends in the boarding area. No matter what, little Zo Ee will never fail to smile whenever approached.

Favourite restaurants in Bali

Dinner watching over the sunset at Zanzibar, Bali
We had our first dinner in Bali at Zanzibar; very popular beachside cafe and specialises in grills. We chose to sit at the balcony on the second floor watching over the sunset. We had Rivioli Di Ricotta E Spinace Pasta (Spinach pasta) with cheese, Fisherman's Dream M course (grill seafood) and cappuccino. Ambience and food was super good for the price paid. Yum! yum!

Kafe Batan Waru - Indonesia (Javanese)

Tum Ayam

Pepes Ikan Laut

Warung Yogya - Indonesia

Nasi Rawon - beef soup

Pecel with peanuts sauce

Poco Loco - Mexican Restaurant

Juicy potatoes skins with various yummy sauces

Beef steak Fajitas

The Flying Piano - Swiss

Pork Medallions in a mustard sauce, beans wrapped in bacon on the side.

Hard Rock Cafe Bali

H.R.C Nachos (always my favourite, to me this is a nicer version than from Singapore)

Sleepy Zo Ee, couldn't wake up the first morning in Bali.

Very unusual of little Zo Ee, as she is a light sleeper and will wake up easily, but this first morning in Bali. mummy couldn't wake her up even after turning and shaking her. Even her favourite kitty cat sound "Meow!" couldn't wake her up. She must be tired!!!

Zo Ee's first experience on the beach

Went to the beach pretty early in the morning, it was about 8am but the sun already shining over our head. Though there is no time difference between Singapore and Bali, the sun rises earlier there as by 6.30am, it’s already a full bright day.

Zo Ee was excited and curious about the waves crashing onto the beach, but one strong wave was enough to get her wet and frightened her away. Nevertheless, little Zo Ee was all excited again the next day, dragging mummy towards the water, when another wave washed us wet, all little Zo Ee wanted was to get away from these frightening waves and clinging to mummy for safety.

Zo Ee's first experience at the pool

Zo Ee looks very quiet and afraid of the water in these first 5minutes clip. But in reality, she really loves the water. That’s why you could see that I was still having my clothes on as she was so keen to get into the water, and dragged me towards the pool the moment daddy put her on the ground. She was strong enough to climb out of the water all by herself (to touch the drain) and drag herself along in the water while holding onto the pool side, trying to make new friends.

Some tourist mummies commented: “Wow! She loves the water.”
