Mummy decided to take Zo Ee to the Singapore Botanic Gardens for her first picnic experience while enjoying the Singapore Chinese Orchestra live performance. This is also Mummy and Daddy first visit to the SBG after so many years staying in Singapore. The thoughts just never came but now with little Zo Ee in tow, we tend to find some places and activities suitable for her. The one hour performance is just nice for little Zo Ee; had her first picnic experience and roamed and played with other kids. Furthermore, its good opportunity to let little Zo Ee experienced live orchestra at this young age as young children are not allowed into actual Concert Hall. Also, little Zo Ee was extremely excited to have her own first picnic after reading many books on this and has been pretend play - having her own picnic at home. When Mummy told her that we were going to have a picnic at the SBG, Mummy explained to her that we will need a mat, some food and when Mummy asked little Zo Ee , "What else do we need to bring for our picnic?" Little Zo Ee added, "cups". Mummy replied, "Oh! yes...we will need some cups for our drinks." . That's my little Zo Ee, has been having simple conversations with Mummy for some time now, was it since she turned 17 month old? Mummy just could not recall now. During the actual day, she was excited but sat on the mat for merely a few minutes only while spending the rest of the hour running around, mingling with other kids and of course clapping occasionally for the Orchestra performance.
