Zo Ee typed this using her VTech's keyboard for the very first time. Mummy helped spells some words for her-name, years and live, while she typed the rest herself. Humorous Zo Ee was hilarious with the last sentence, she modified it to " i live in c" . She even commented that the letter "C" rhyme with "Zo Ee."

Zo Ee asked Mummy to draw her a blue christmas tree. Later she added ornaments and presents to it. She even tried to copy the red star on the top right....

The Dead grasshopper - 2years 8months

Last month, we saw and were observing a dying grasshopper for an hour until it finally stopped moving. Since then, little Zo Ee has been talking about the dead grasshopper for days up to almost a week.

Zo Ee, "Mummy, what happened to the grasshopper?"
Mummy, "It looks injured. Look at its right leg, it's bend."

When Mummy saw the grasshopper stopped moving, Mummy told Zo Ee about it.
Mummy, "Zo Ee, the grasshopper is dead."
Zo Ee, "Mummy! Mummy! what happened to the grasshopper?"
Mummy, "The grasshopper is dead. It is not moving anymore."
Zo Ee, "Mummy, the grasshopper is dead. It is not moving anymore. Mummy! What happened to the grasshopper?" (I guessed she cannot understand what is dead?)
Mummy, "Maybe we can confirm it out. (Mummy used a stick to touch the grasshopper and it did not move even a little.) See, the grasshopper is dead, it is not responding to Mummy's touch or trying to escape. The grasshopper is not moving. It is dead. "
Zo Ee, "Mummy, the grasshopper is dead. Why is the grasshopper dead? What happened to the grasshopper?"
Mummy, "Most likely the injured grasshopper cannot find food or water with its injured leg. Maybe it die of hunger and thirst."
Zo Ee, "Mummy, the grasshopper is dead. It cannot find food and water. Mummy! Mummy! what happened to the grasshopper?"
Mummy, "Yes Zo Ee, the grasshopper is dead. It is not moving at all. It will not ever move again. It will stay just like it is. It will not eat or drink. It will not need food anymore."
Zo Ee, "Mummy, the grasshopper is dead.Why is the grasshopper dead? " .....
(Zo Ee will not stop asking the same question until she has all the satisfied answers.)


Again, when Daddy's home later, little Zo Ee repeat the whole story to her dear Daddy... "Daddy, the grasshopper is dead. It's leg got injured...and it cannot find food...etc...."

Mummy bought her new paint, and little Zo Ee drew and painted these herself - a circle, a triangle, a rectangle and a square. (her own idea)

Happy New Year - 2years 8months old

Started our New Year Day with Breakfast/Lunch at Poco-Loco, Candolim.

Zo Ee enjoying her food, we spent 2hours sitting leisurely while Zo Ee finished her food.

Initially, we had decided to spend some time near by Calangute beach, especially visiting new stalls opened this peak season but had to call it off due to heavy traffic jam. We ended up strolling along Candolim beach at around 4.30pm; pleasant weather, windy and not hot.

This is us, spending our New Year 2011 by the beach.

After 45minutes of strolling and running, Calangute Beach is still far away....so we decided to turn around and head back to the car....so another 45minutes walking....

Finally reached home after dinner....Everybody looks tired.... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

If you look closer, Zo Ee actually set up the table for some passengers; pooh and teddy bear. Looking at her skill, she knows the right place to place the fork and spoon.
